The services of the Sylvan Lake Fire Department include: Fire Suppression, Emergency Medical Services (ambulance back-up), Ice Search and Rescue, Hazardous Material Incidents and Motor Vehicle Collisions (Extrication).
The Sylvan Lake Fire Department currently has 28 members including a fulltime Fire Chief, a volunteer Deputy Chief, Assistant Chief, three Captains and three Lieutenants. Each crew consists of a Captain, Lieutenant, Pump Operators and Firefighters.
