Parent Place - Town of Sylvan Lake
What Is Parent Place?
Located in the Family & Community Centre, Parent Place is the newest
addition to Family & Community Support Services programs. Parent Place offers
opportunities for parents and children to come together in a space created specifically
for them.
Participatory programs are created to meet the needs of parents, guardians, and
caregivers of children 0 to 6 years of age. However, there are also learning opportunities
and resources available to parents of both school aged and teenaged children.
All Parent Place drop-in programming is offered at no cost to participants. While
here, your children along with you are free to play with the toys, create works
of art, and have as much fun as he or she desires.
If you would like to participate in the Toy Lending program, parents, guardians,
and/or caregivers are required to complete and submit a membership form. Cost of
membership is $5.00 per month and is in place to cover any extraordinary costs of
toy replacement or repair.
