Education Property Tax Assistance For Seniors Program
This program provides a annual rebate to senior homeowners to cover the year-to-year increases in the education portion of their property taxes.
The rebate covers increases in the education portion of their property taxes, using the 2004 education tax amount as the baseline.
For people who turn 65 after 2005, the program uses the year before they turn 65 as their baseline.
