Youth Services - Town of Sylvan Lake Youth Services Program
Since opening the Youth Services office in 1999 in an 8 week pilot
project, the project and programs have grown in many ways in support of Sylvan
Lake community youth. Youth Services offers drop-in programming in the Youth
Center, afterschool registered programming, evening programming for older youth,
a Youth Employment Center as well as Summer camps and Kidproof Safety Programs.
The Youth Services Program staff support and facilitate the initiatives of the
Youth Advisory Board.

Youth programs provide positive, safe, interactive opportunities for youth in
our community. Youth Services strives to provide innovative and creative youth
programs. We are currently working with youth, social service groups and local
business owners to promote the many positive contributions our youth make in
their community. We are committed to providing opportunities for youth that will
better enable them to develop healthy lifestyles. We are continually working to
develop youth friendly facilities and public spaces. We provide programs and
