The Town of Sylvan Lake wants your feedback! 
On  August 26, 2024, Council approved the first reading of the Off-Highway Vehicle Bylaw 1904-2024(External link)  (page 31). Council directed Administration to engage Lakers and get their feedback.

Phase 2 of the Centennial Street Redevelopment project is scheduled to begin on September 9, 2024. This phase includes improving the intersection at 50 Avenue and Centennial Street. We hope to finish the majority of Phase 2  this fall. Phase 2 finishing touches are scheduled for spring 2025. Please keep in mind timelines are weather dependent. Thanks to all the amazing Lakers for their patience during construction. The new intersection will bring much needed improvements...

Starting September 3, 2024, Lighthouse Park will be closed for maintenance. The work will last about 3 weeks, depending on weather.
Work includes:
Removal and replacement of the concrete apron around the lighthouse
Construction of a retaining wall
Maintenance of the lookout and sitting area
