FIREFIGHTER SERVICE AWARD

• Mayor Hanson presented Jason Morgan with 12 years of service award for his contributions to the Sylvan Lake Fire Department.

CONSENT AGENDA

• The 2024-09-19 ABC Update Meeting Minutes approved as presented
• The 2024-09-23 Regular Meeting of Council Meeting minutes approved as presented
• The 2024-10-02 Committee of the Whole Meeting minutes approved as presented
• Council approves First Reading of Regional Intermunicipal Subdivision and Development Appeal Board (SDAB) Bylaw

DELEGATIONS

• Anne Frey and Angela Eadie-Gyori presented to Council on behalf of the CP Blakeley and Steffie Woima Playgrounds
• Ron Sheppard of Parkland Regional Library Systems and Haley Amendt of the Sylvan Lake Municipal Library presented Council with their respective budgets for the 2025 fiscal year

ADMINISTRATION

• Council approves proposed Town Policies and Procedures Policy with the noted change of WCC written in full as Wellness and Community Connections

CORPORATE SERVICES

• Council approves the Parkland Regional Library Budget for the 2025 fiscal year at $9.81 per capita and advises the PRL Board in writing
• Council accepts the 2025 Budget information from Sylvan Lake Municipal Library and will deliberate the request during the Town of Sylvan Lake’s upcoming budget process

LEGISLATIVE SERVICES

• Council approves Second Reading to amending Bylaw 1905-2024, being an amendment to Procedure Bylaw 1886-2023
