CONSENT AGENDA

• Council grants First Reading to Bylaw 1879-2023, being a bylaw to amend the Town’s Land Use Bylaw to re-designate part of the SE 28-38-1-W5M
• Council set June 26, 2023, at 6:00 PM in the Council Chambers as the date, time and place for the Public Hearing on Bylaw 1879-2023

PUBLIC HEARINGS & DELEGATIONS

• Lindsey and Abigail Kowalchuk gave a presentation to Council requesting that backyard runner ducks be added as an option to the Responsible Animal Ownership Bylaw upon its next amendment. Their request is that Council would consider expanding the bylaw to include a combination of ducks and/or hens to a maximum of 4 birds in total

PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT

• Council approves Development Permit # 074-2023, for a detached dwelling with secondary suite and relaxation to the minimum parking stall width from 8’ 6” to 8’ 4” located at 5240 50B Avenue (Lot 28, Block D, Plan 152 2234), subject to a number of conditions
