As a “northern” community, we should embrace winter culture and shiftour mindsets to enjoy the winter season. Depending on how you look at it, winter occurs for almost six months out of the year - it is who we are and what we do.
Let's get outside and enjoy it with activities such as skating, building snowmen, or ice fishing! Bundle up and let us show you (or you show us), how to embrace our beautiful season of winter.

Winter is a season full of opportunity, with so many reasons to get outside and to play outside - even for a short time. The outdoors is important for our mental well-being, health, vibrancy, connectivity, and sense of place. With shifting our mindsets to embrace the season as a winter lifestyle, we can our identity of winter. We are Sylvan Lakers, and “We Winter”.
