Lakers, let’s get nominating! The Citizen of the Year awards acknowledges the importance of recognizing significant accomplishments which enhance community spirit and positively impact The Town of Sylvan Lake.

How to nominate

• Nominate a fellow Laker for a Citizen of the Year award from February 3 to March 11, 2025, at 12:00 noon

• Youth Award of Excellence
• Long Time Service Volunteer
• Mayor's Distinguished Award

Who can be nominated?

• All nominees must live, or have lived, in Sylvan Lake to be eligible. Visit the application form for full nomination requirements
