Phase 2 of the Centennial Street Redevelopment project is scheduled to begin on September 9, 2024. This phase includes improving the intersection at 50 Avenue and Centennial Street. We hope to finish the majority of Phase 2  this fall. Phase 2 finishing touches are scheduled for spring 2025. Starting September 3, 2024, Lighthouse Park will be closed for maintenance. The work will last about 3 weeks, depending on weather.
Work includes:
Removal and replacement of the concrete apron around the lighthouse
Construction of a retaining wall
Maintenance of the lookout and sitting area
