PROCLOMATIONS
- Mayor Hanson declares December 5, 2022 to be International Volunteer Day in the Town of Sylvan Lake.
CORPORATE SERVICES
- Council approves an operating grant equal to 20% of the property taxes for the building space leased by Central Alberta Youth Unlimited at 4425 50 Street, for a 3-year period, beginning in 2023 and expiring in the 2025 fiscal year. This operating grant will be paid annually upon receipt of all information requested by the Town of Sylvan Lake, verifying the operations and non-profit status of Central Alberta Youth Unlimited. The information is to be provided prior to November 30, each year in order to receive the operating grant for the following year.
- Council approves Report AIR – 667, to add unpaid expenses and costs incurred by the Town to the tax rolls of property owners who neglect to remove snow and ice from sidewalks adjacent to their properties and who neglect to remit payment to the Town.
PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT
- Council repeals the Traffic Impact Analysis Guidelines Policy, approves the Certificate of Compliance Policy, and accepts the Short-Term Accommodation Rental Bylaw Update as information.
- Council grants 3rd Reading to Offsite Levy Bylaw.
