Sylvan Lake Bylaws and Policies determine how we maintain our roads. The Public Works team follows the bylaws and policies and performs regular street maintenance including:

  • Pothole repairs
  • Crack sealing
  • Street sweeping
  • Curb and gutter repairs
  • Gravel maintenance
  • Roadway structure maintenance
  • Regular patrol and inspection

Regular maintenance maximizes the life of our roads and trails, and minimizes the long-term costs related to reconstruction.

Every spring the Town sweeps the winter gravel from the roads to be recycled.
