New Town Project Mapping Tool

We’ve made changes to how our Capital projects are presented online! The Town of Sylvan Lake is excited to now offer an interactive project mapping tool; the public is still encouraged to visit www.sylvanlake.ca/townprojects; however, from there you will notice a new “Projects Map” button, and we invite you all to check it out.
This new mapping tool is intended to zero in on a few key details that we believe members of the public are most interested in when it comes to projects – what, why, how much, project status, and a contact or two for more information. As we introduce more projects, or add to project content, we will also connect viewers to design renderings, or existing master plans that are associated with the projects.
Our Town Projects page continues to feature a couple major projects that require more detail, such as Pogadl Park and 50 Avenue Redevelopment, but our hope it that the new project mapping tool provides a more accessible, visual experience for our population.
Construction notices, road closures etc. are still posted to www.sylvanlake.ca/newshub and members of the public are encouraged to subscribe to these notices via email at www.sylvanlake.ca/subscribe
A reminder that while we have approved project plans, and designs in place, aspects of the projects may change. We do our best to keep the public informed of major changes; however, sometimes due to the nature of the project, some of these changes/decisions happen quickly to ensure we can continue on schedule, and on budget.
