Policy | Request for Letters of Support
Council approved Policy L-001-009 Request for Letters of Support Policy, as presented.

Third Quarter Status Reports
Council reviewed quarterly reports from Recreation, Culture and Tourism, and Economic Development. In addition to accepting the reports as information, the following motion, was carried:

  • Council approved a timeline extension for project completion of CP2014 NexSource Centre Accessibility Upgrades, to September, 2021.

CORPORATE SERVICES

Policy | Disposal of Town Assets
Council approved the Disposal of Town Assets Policy, as presented.

2020 Third Quarter Public Concerns and Requests Report
Council accepted the 2020 Third Quarter Public Concerns and Requests Report, as information.

Frontline Church Tax Request
Council defeated a motion to approve the request from Frontline Church for a refund of property taxes paid for 4904 – 50 Avenue, as presented.

*Mayor McIntyre excused himself from this item, due to any perceived conflict of interest.

PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT

Development Permit | Tourist Home, 103, 5120 - Lakeshore Drive
Council defeated a motion to approve a Tourist Home at 103, 5120 Lakeshore Drive.

Request from Summer Villages Administration to Purchase Land
Council granted approval to the request for land acquisition by the Summer Villages Administration at 2 Erickson Drive, as per their letter dated October 21st, 2020 to facilitate a new administrative office, as presented.

PUBLIC WORKS

Lead Management Program Update
Council accepted the Lead Management Program Update Report as information.

RECREATION, CULTURE AND TOURISM

Ice Allocation Policy
Council approves replacing Ice Allocation Policy R-002-004A, with Ice Allocation Policy R-002-004B, as presented.

Swimming Pool Allocation Policy
Council replaced Aquatic Centre Pool Allocation Policy R-002-009 with Swimming Pool Allocation Policy R-002-009A, as presented.
