Centennial Park Playground
Council requested further information from Administration on the Centennial Park Playground upgrades, including the following points to be addressed:
- Availability of additional funding for the project
- What would additional funding gain us
- Administration to provide some visible examples in the report
Parks & Protective Services Project Updates
Council reviewed and approved the project status updates, as information.
PUBLIC WORKS
50 Avenue. Stormwater Lift Station
Council awarded the contract for the Stormwater Lift Station to Northside Construction Partnership for $2,130,400.27, including a 10% contingence and GST, as presented.
Council also directed Administration to reallocate $1,065,272.27 from CP 2019 Stormwater Replacement Program to CP 1926 Stormwater Lift Station, as presented.
RECREATION, CULTURE & TOURISM
Grant Allocations
Council approved a grant allocation in the amount of $10,000 to the Sylvan Lake Food Bank.
Council approved a grant allocation in the amount of $10,000 to Sylvan Lake Community Partners.
Council approved funding all the funds from the Recreation Arts and Culture Grant, and the Community Spirit Capital Grant Programs, as outlined in the report.
