PROCLAMATIONS
Mayor Hanson proclaims the following:
- May 5, 2024, as Red Dress Day
- June 22, 2024 as Lemonade Day
OPEN MICROPHONE
- Bukhari Syed spoke to Council regarding his concerns around the Rural Renewal Stream Program. He asked Council to reconsider their decision of pausing the Rural Renewal Stream Program
- Zona Sceerey of Best Western spoke to Council regarding their proposal to bring golf cart transportation/shuttle services as part of their hospitality at their hotel. They would also be interested in offering the service to visitors/residents throughout the town needing transportation

- Council approves First Reading of Safe & Inclusive Access Bylaw
- Council approves First Reading of Traffic Safety Bylaw
PUBLIC HEARINGS AND DELEGATIONS
- Grant Stange of RSM Canada LLP presented Council with the findings report for the 2023 Audited Financial Statements
PROPERTY TAX BYLAW
- Council gives Second and Third Reading to Bylaw, establishing the 2024 property tax rates as outlined
FEES AND CHARGES BYLAW
- Council approves Second Reading of Fees and Charges Bylaw
ENGINEERING SCOPE CHANGE APPROVAL
- Council approves an engineering scope change (Scope Change Request #6) in the amount to not exceed $165,000.00 excluding GST to McElhanney Ltd. for Capital Project CP1901 Highway 20 & Memorial Trail Intersection Upgrades
REQUEST FOR APPROVAL
- Council approves Development Permit #092-2024 for an accessory building for commercial use located at 5220 Lakeshore Drive (Lot 5, Block 1, Plan 1424681), as presented in AIR-926 subject to a number of conditions
