First Quarter Reports
Council accepted a number of first quarter reports as information for both Parks & Protective Services and Recreation & Culture.

CORPORATE SERVICES

2021 Property Tax Rates
Council granted second and third reading to Bylaw 1821/2021 to establish the 2021 property tax rates.

2020 Financial Statements
Council approved the 2020 Audited Financial Statements presented by RSM Canada LLP.

PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT

Land Use Bylaw Amendment
Council granted First Reading to proposed Bylaw 1823/2021 to amend the Town’s Land Use Bylaw 1695/2015, to re-designate parts of the SW 28-38-1-W5M. Council also set May 25, 2021 at 6:00 PM for a Public Hearing on the Bylaw.

Mobile Vending and Busking
Council granted First Reading of the Mobile Vending and Busking Bylaw 1828/2021.

RECREATION, CULTURE & TOURISM

Lakefront Park Boat Trailer Parking
Council approved the changes being requested to the Lakefront Park parking area, as presented.

Visit Sylvan Lake Branding
Council accepted the Visit Sylvan Lake Branding report as information, as presented.

Special Events Toolkit
Council approved the Special Events Toolkit, as presented.
