Sustainable Waterfront Area Redevelopment Plan | Bylaw 1776/2018
Council granted first reading to the Sustainable Waterfront Area Redevelopment Plan, Bylaw 1776/2018.

Council set January 14, 2019 at 6:00 PM in the Council Chambers as the date, time and place for the Public Hearing on Bylaw 1776/2018.

Land Use Bylaw Amendment | Bylaw 1777/2018
Council granted first reading to Bylaw 1777/2018, being a Bylaw to amend the Town’s Land Use Bylaw 1695/2015. The amendment is related to the Sustainable Waterfront Area Redevelopment Plan.

Iron Gate Outline Plan Amendment
Council approved the amendment to the Iron Gate Outline Plan.

Council granted second and third reading to proposed Bylaw 1775/2018, being a Bylaw to adopt the Northeast Gateway Area Structure Plan.

Budget Overview for Parks and Recreation
Council approved the Budget Overview for Parks & Recreation as information.

PUBLIC WORKS

Fogdog Energy Solutions Incorporated Agreements – Request for Decision
Council authorized the Chief Administrative Officer to finalize non-substantial details of the Master Services Agreement and the Facility Ground Lease Agreement, and sign each at his discretion, with Fogdog Energy Solutions Incorporated to permit them to construct and operate a No Landfill Disposal Facility at the Waste Transfer Site in Sylvan Lake based upon the requirements of each agreement.

FINANCE

Interim Budget Approval
In accordance with Section 242 of the Municipal Government Act, Council approved a 2019 Interim Operating Budget of $5.0 million. 

The 2019 Budget comes to Council for final approval on January 14, 2019.

Financial Indicator Graphs
Council accepted the 2017 Financial Indicator Graphs as information and direct Administration to make them available to the public.

Operating Surplus Allocation Policy
Council adopted the Operating Surplus Allocation Policy.
