NexSource Centre Emergency Backup Generator
Council approved the purchase of the NexSource Centre Emergency backup generator in the amount of $392,853 from NexSource Power Inc.
Council also approved the budget increase of $217,000 with the funds to come from the Recreation and Culture Capital Reserve.
Polar Bear Dip Review
Council approved Recreation and Culture’s Polar Bear Dip registration rules and guideline changes.
Amendment to Fire Bylaw
Council granted first reading to Bylaw 1785/2019, the Fire Bylaw, as presented.

Snow and Ice Control Policy | Public Comments Summary
Council received the Snow and Ice Control Policy, Public Comments Summary, as information, and directed Administration to increase communication and general information to the public during snow and ice control operations regarding specific concerns and aspects, particularly the frequency of ploughing D Routes and the storage of snow on boulevards.
CORRESPONDANCE
Council directed Administration to provide sponsorship for the AACS Golf Tournament again this year with the $1,000 lifesaver option.
