Service Awards
- Mayor Hanson and Fire Chief, Cliff Brausen, presented Deputy Fire Chief, Steve Scanland with the 20-year Fire Services Exemplary Service Medal from the Governor General of Canada and the 22-year Alberta Emergency Services Medal from the Government of Alberta
Bylaws and Policies
- Council gives Second and Third Reading to the Records Management Bylaw
- Council approves the Tangible Capital Assets, Budget Adjustment, and Taffic Calming policies
Extended Producer Responsibility Program
- Council directs Administration to register for the Extended Producer Responsibility Program prior to the deadline of December 31, 2023
- ouncil authorizes Administration to negotiate details of the Packaging and Paper Product Hazardous and Special Product agreements with the Producer Responsibility Organizations and to present the draft agreements to Council for approval prior to the execution of the agreements
Services Contract
- Council directs Administration to award the services contract for water wells drilling and testing to Darcy’s Drilling Services Ltd. of Ponoka, Alberta, in an amount to not exceed $700,000.00, excluding GST
