Amend Business Licensing Bylaw
Council granted Second and Third Reading to Bylaw 1771/2018 to amend the Business Licensing Bylaw.
The amendment is to determine the municipal business licensing process for potential cannabis retail sales.
Development Permit – Façade Improvements for 5016 – 50 Street
Council approved a Development Permitfor façade improvements to the existing building located at 5016 - 50 Street (Direct Control District)
PUBLIC WORKS
Negotiate and Award Contract for Solid Waste Services
Council directed Administration to enter into a contract for the provision of solid waste services with Waste Connections of Canada of Red Deer, Alberta for a term of two (2) years, with two (2) additional one (1) year optional extensions.
ADMINISTRATION
Corporate Seal Policy Amendment
Council adopted Policy L-002-005A, the Corporate Seal Policy.
Façade Improvement Program – Grant Request, 5041 and 5043 – 50 Street
Council directed Administration to re-engage the landowners and continue the Façade Improvement Program application process, provided the project meets all requirements and the project is complete by June 2019.
AND THAT should the project receive grant approval by Council project funding of $7,500 would be allocated from operating contingency reserves for this project.
