DELEGATIONS

Sylvan Lake Wranglers
Members from the Sylvan Lake Wranglers Junior Hockey Club, Mr. Blair Mack, Community Liaison, along with players, coaches, GM and Captain of the Team, appeared before Council to express their support to the Town and the management and staff of the NexSource Centre, for choosing and implementing the Alberta Restriction Exemption program.

Mr. Mack stated that as of today, all 16 home municipalities, where the member teams of the Heritage Junior Hockey League play, have chosen to comply with the Alberta Restriction Exemption program. Without this program, and the cooperation of each community, 320 player’s seasons would be over. Mr. Mack stated the management and staff of the NexSource Centre never stopped assisting them in reacting and preparing for ongoing provincial mandate changes and lockdowns and trying to get the players on the ice, the effort and assistance is very much appreciated by the Wranglers.
