Sylvan Lakers interested in the 2025 Municipal Election are invited to learn more about running for Council.
The Town is hosting a Council Information Night on Wednesday Dec 11 at the Municipal Government Building (Council Chambers). Residents can learn details about running for Mayor or Councillor, including, but not limited to:
- Important details required for applying
- Time commitments
- Included duties
- Jurisdiction
- Boards and Committees
- Important Dates
Town staff and administration will be available to answer questions about running, the process, and first-hand experience of serving Sylvan Lake.
If you’re interested in learning more, join us between 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM at the Municipal Government Building.
