Mandatory water conservation is in effect April 1 to October 31

Mandatory water conservation is in effect from April 1 to October 31. This annual water conservation helps us protect our aquifer and make sure we all have enough water.
Let's all do our part and use water wisely:
- ALL homes watering ban everyday 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- All homes, anytime: Turn off your water if it is running into the street or sewer system. Watering further only wastes money and water
- Odd numbered homes: water lawn, garden, or yard ONLY on odd numbered days
- Even numbered homes: water lawn, garden, or yard ONLY on even numbered days
- Hand watering: Any home may water by hand with a water jug on any day of the week, any time of day
- New sod or seed: water on any day of the week, any time of day
Why do we conserve water?
- Did you know that firefighting uses the same water that comes out of your taps? Making sure we have enough water to fight fires is one of the many reasons we conserve water during the driest parts of every year
- Firefighting is not the only reason we conserve water. Learn why we all must conserve water and how we are protecting it in the Your Water brochure. Pick up a free copy at any Town building or download it here
Planning for growth
- The Town’s Water Sustainability Project is a plan to protect our water supply today while providing enough water for future growth
