NexSource Centre Adopts Restriction Exemption Program

Posted on:

Effective Monday, September 20, 2021, the Town of Sylvan Lake will be participating in the new Government of Alberta Restriction Exemption Program at the NexSource Centre.

Anyone entering the NexSource Centre will be required to show proof of vaccination; proof of medical exemption; or proof of negative test before accessing services or entering the facility. In doing so, the Town can continue to offer safe operation of programs and facilities to users and staff of the NexSource Centre.

Any youth aged 12-17 attending registered programs will not need to show proof of vaccination. However, they will need to show proof of vaccination (or medical exemption/proof of negative test) if attending any of our drop in programs.

The NexSource Centre will open to the entire public for both the Federal Election on September 20, 2021 and Municipal Election on October 18, 2021. There are no exemptions for masks, however; masks are mandatory unless proof of medical exemption, as mandated by the Province.
