Nominate an Amazing Youth for a Youth Spark Award!

Hey Lakers! Do you know of an amazing youth that shows leadership and determination? Nominate them for a Youth Spark Award! This event lets our community honour youth who make a positive impact. The winners of each youth category will be entered to win the Youth Excellence Citizen of the Year Award.
How to nominate
- Complete the online nomination form
- Deadline: 5:00 PM, March 31, 2025
Award Categories
- Inspiration Award (Ages 8 – 18)
- Service & Caring Award (Ages 8 – 18)
- Arts & Culture Award (Ages 8 – 18)
- Athletic Ambassador Award (Ages 8 – 18)
- Spark Champion: Awarded to an adult who has gone above and beyond to be a champion for youth in the community (Ages 19+)
Who can be nominated?
- Live or go to school in Sylvan Lake, OR
- Live within 15 kms of Sylvan Lake and have gone to school in Sylvan Lake
- Must fall within the age range by the nomination deadline
- Winners may only receive a Youth Spark Award once in their lifetime
- Nominators must be outside the child’s immediate family
