Remembrance Day | Wednesday Waste Collection, as Usual

Residences with regular Wednesday garbage/recycle cart collection are asked to place their garbage and recycling out for collection, as usual, on Wednesday, November 11 (Remembrance Day); however, please note that collection will pause momentarily from 11:00 - 11:30 AM.
The Waste Transfer Site will be closed on Wednesday, November 11 for Remembrance Day.
- The Waste Transfer Site is open through the winter on Wednesday through Saturday from
- 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Closed on statutory holidays
- The facility is located one kilometer east of the round-about on Highway 11A and one half a kilometer south on RR12
- After-hour access is not permitted
