School & Playground Zone Awareness During Teacher Strike
Posted on:The Town of Sylvan Lake's Municipal Enforcement team would like to remind Lakers that despite the current teachers' strike across Alberta, school zones remain in effect for areas of Sylvan Lake.
School zones remain in effect for Lighthouse Christian Academy (4290 50 Street). Lakers must continue to observe posted speed limits and stay alert when driving through this zone. The only inactive school zone is Ecole H.J. Cody High School (4520 50 Street).
A reminder that all other school zones in Sylvan Lake are playground zones. They remain in effect all year long.
