Statement from Town of Sylvan Lake

On behalf of Mayor Megan Hanson and Council, the Town of Sylvan Lake would like to extend its condolences to all those affected by the recent loss in our community. We are saddened by the news and our thoughts are with the families at this time.
We appreciate all those involved in assisting our community, including first responders, school supports from our educational leaders and residents who are providing help to those who need it most during this time of grief.
As this matter is currently under RCMP investigation, we will not be making additional comments.
