Sylvan Lake launches Business Resiliency Survey

Posted on:

The Town of Sylvan Lake’s Economic Development Department is teaming up with Sylvan Lake Tourism, and the Sylvan Lake Chamber of Commerce to launch a community- based business survey, as a part of a beefed-up business retention and resiliency strategy. The Strategy is aimed at connecting with businesses in Sylvan Lake, and is intended as an opportunity to “check in” during these uncertain times.

The goal of the survey is to let the local business community know that we are here for them; the survey also acts as a channel of communication - informing our businesses of local/provincial/federal supports available to them. Additionally, the information we collect is critical data to help the Town – Economic Development help inform direction and strategies to facilitate the recovery process moving forward.” – Amanda Mercer, Economic Development Officer

The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete, and while the Survey Team will be reaching out to business owner/operators by phone to complete the survey, an online option is also available at www.sylvanlake.ca/Business-Resource-Centre
