Did you know that the Town of Sylvan Lake has a number of rules regarding recreational vehicle (RVs), and trailer parking and storage?
- Between November 1st and April 1st of each year, residents must park their recreational vehicles, including tent trailers, holiday trailers, fifth wheels, watercrafts on trailers, and motorhomes, at the back of their property (or store an offsite location);
- Parking an RV on any street between November 1st and April 1st, is not permitted;
- Between November 1st, and April 1st, parking an RV on the front or side of one’s property, is not permitted;
- Utility trailers (including both enclosed or unenclosed, which are used to transport property, goods, or supplies), may remain parked on the front or side yard parking areas, as long as they are parked on an approved hard surface (and a reminder that utility trailers parked on the street must be attached to a tow vehicle).
