Water meter upgrade program

A multi-year water meter upgrade program is underway. The Town of Sylvan Lake has contracted Neptune Technology Group to upgrade water meters at select locations across the community. The upgrades ensure continued accuracy of your water bill, contributes towards water consertation efforts, and improves reading efficiencies; the technology also improves customer service in that it eliminates regular manual reads, has proactive leak detection, and backflow events.
You may receive communication from Neptune Technology Group indicating your residence is to receive a water meter upgrade; if you do receive a notice, please follow the instructions, and book an appointment with meter technicians. The meter upgrade process takes 30 – 90 minutes, and the replacement is free of charge.
