COMMUNITY SERVICES 

Vehicle and Equipment Use Policy
Council approved the proposed amendments to the Vehicle & Equipment Use Policy L-002-001B, as presented.

PUBLIC WORKS

Traffic Bylaw 1781/2019
Council granted First Reading to the proposed Traffic Bylaw, and set July 22, 2019 at 6:00 PM in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Government Building as the date, time, and place for the Public Hearing.

Council also approved changing all existing school zones and all hybrid zones to playground zones where a playground structure exists on a schoolyard as requested in report AIR-41, and, for clarity, retaining all school zones located on 50th Street.

Standard Roadway Cross-Sections and Updates to the Development Process and Design Guidelines and General Construction Specifications
Council accepted all updates and adopt the 2018 Development Process and Design Guidelines Version 2.0 and adopt the 2014 General Construction Specifications Version 2.0 as presented in AIR-21. 

ADMINISTRATION

Second Quarter Reports
Council reviewed and accepted as information Second Quarter Reports.

Council also approved a completion date extension for the Festival and Events Strategy Project.

CORRESPONDANCE

Council requested Administration to prepare a report on options to address the concerns of the residents of Vanson Close/Vistas Phase 3 regarding increased grade.

Council supported the Mayor writing a letter to MLA Devin Dreeshen regarding beach enhancements.
