2020 Visitor Pay Parking | Year-end report
Council accepted the 2020 Visitor Pay Parking Year-end Report as information, and accepted the changes identified in the report, directing Administration to implement the following changes to the Visitor Pay Parking Program for the start of the 2021 Visitor Pay Parking Season:
- Increase rates to $3/hour and $15/day
- Decrease the maximum hourly limit in the downtown on-street parking to a two hour maximum
- Remove the portion of the Town that is east of 33 Street from the Visitor Pay Parking Program
Centennial Park Playground
Council approved the report to award the tender for Centennial Park Playground to Canadian Recreation Solutions for an amount not to exceed $370,000, exclusive of GST.

Mayor McIntyre proclaimed February 2021 as Black History Month in Sylvan Lake, and encouraged all citizens to celebrate our diverse heritage and culture, and continue our efforts to create a world that is more just, peaceful, and prosperous for all.
