Minister's Award of Excellence
Council supported a request by Lacombe County to submit the Sylvan Lake Inter-municipal Development Plan (IDP) for a Minister’s Award of Excellence.
Project Work Plans
Council approved two project work plans from the Divisions of Recreation, Culture & Tourism (NexSource Centre upgrades) and Economic Development (Waterfront Commercial District Revitalization), as information.

Council Usage Policy
Council approved the updated Council Usage Policy, as presented.
Travel and Expense Policy
Council approved the updated Travel and Expense Policy, as presented.
PEOPLE SERVICES
Family and Community Support Services Board Bylaw
Council granted Second and Third Reading to Bylaw 1825/2021, being a bylaw to amend the Family and Community Support Services Board Bylaw.
Volunteer Week Activities
Council approved the Volunteer Week activities, as presented.
Refurbishing and Renaming of Community Centre Signage
Council approved the refurbishing and name change of the “Sylvan Lake Family & Community Centre” signage to “Sylvan Lake Wellness and Community Connections Centre".
PUBLIC WORKS
46th Street Storm Line Upgrade
Council awarded the contract for 46th Street Storm Line Upgrade year 2021 to Carbon Earthworks of Red Deer County for $1,136,607.50, not including contingency and GST.
RECREATION, CULTURE AND TOURISM
Major Recreation Facility Fund Repeal
Council repealed the Major Recreation Facility Fund Policy R-002-006A, as outlined in Report AIR-340.
You Can Play Too! Grant Policy Update
Council replaced the You Can Play Too! Grant Policy R-004-001 with You Can Play Too! Grant Policy R-004-001A, as outlined in Report AIR-324.

Mayor McIntyre proclaimed March 8, 2021 as International Women's Day in Sylvan Lake, and encouraged all citizens to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women everywhere.
