A proclamation is a formal public statement made by a mayor on behalf of council to declare a day, week or month to raise awareness for an event or cause.
The Town of Sylvan Lake recognizes the importance of acknowledging and highlighting both not-for-profit and established charitable events within the community. Proclamations declared by the Town of Sylvan Lake shall align with Council’s Vision, Mission and Guiding Principles.
